It’s all happening at the zoo (National Zoo that is)

We went to the National Zoo today and got some pretty good pictures. It was very sunny and about 50 degrees all day. We were able to see the baby panda, Tai Shan ("peaceful mountain"), although he spent most of the day sleeping in a tree.

Picture-Perfect Day in DC

Started off early and enjoyed the nice 70-degree weather today in DC by first visiting Great Falls National Park (MD) and then we headed into the city. Spent some time at the Holocaust Museum and then to the National Mall for some pictures. Finished off the day watching the Wizards play the Pistons. HFStival, updates

It's been a very long time since I last wrote. Much has happened; Erin and I are now engaged (since last October now) and have briefly begun to plan for our October 2005 wedding. Yes, I know, it's a long ways a way, but it gives us some time to save some money, and take things much slower/easier. Last June I finally purchased the black Jeep Wrangler that I always wanted. That sums up the past year, or at least from April until now.

Yesterday, Erin, Joe and I attended HFStival. It was a unique experience -- saw many cool bands and had fun basking in the 90+ degree weather. Now Erin and I are preparing for a weeklong vacation (and part work on my part) to San Diego this coming week. In the past, I have enjoyed heading to San Diego for the warmth and perfect 72-degree days. Now, I am planning to enjoy the same perfect weather, however, it will be the cooler sensation instead of our 90+ degree-days here. Stay tuned for some pictures from our trip to CA!

Cherry Blossoms

Erin and I spent some time walking around DC with my parents this weekend. It was the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. We got a lot of great pictures and had a lot of fun walking around in the nice weather!

PSU - Larry Johnson

This past weekend Erin and I had the privilege to see Larry Johnson break PSU's all-time rushing record against Northwestern. It was really a great game and the whole weekend was a lot of fun. Since most of my co-workers are all alumni from UVA, we are planning a good time for them up at Penn State. Erin's going to be making some some great tailgating food for the weekend.
